Community Survey
The City of Monroe, along with consultant Rundell Ernstberger Associates, is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan. The current Comprehensive Plan was created in 2010 and since then, the City has seen significant growth. The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to guide Monroe’s Council, Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Park and Recreation Board, and staff regarding the type, location, and intensity of development and redevelopment in the City. Multiple steering committee meetings, along with stakeholder meetings and public engagement opportunities have already taken place.
As part of this process, public and stakeholder input is necessary and vital in order to focus on areas of more detailed analysis and develop appropriate recommendations. As such, City staff is asking for participation in a community survey.
There will be five total surveys in this series. Each survey will be informal and relate to development types, development styles, and quality of life aspects and amenities. Each question is focused on ONE picture which you will rate on how appealing it is to you. All surveys need to be completed by February 7, 2020.
