Overley-Worman Park Master Plan

Zionsville Parks Department

PROJECT SUMMARY

The Town of Zionsville completed the process of creating a master plan for a new park called the Overley-Worman Park.  This park will be located on land adjacent to Eagle Creek across from Starkey Nature Park behind the new Vonterra subdivision located on Zionsville Road.  The master plan was created to ensure that the park best meets the needs and wants of the many user groups, both today and in the future. Rundell Ernstberger Associates, an Indianapolis based landscape architecture and planning firm, was retained to provide facilitation and technical guidance in this process, which included a review of current property features, an ecological analysis of the creek and natural areas, recommended modifications to the park, construction costs and phasing, and several opportunities for community input.
