Cynthia Bowen, Seyd Shokouhseah, and Blaine Oliver will share strategies for harnessing and synthesizing a range of opinions that arise during a controversial planning process. The presentation will discuss the University Parkway Corridor Plan, a partnership between the Vanderburgh County Commissioners, Evansville-Vanderburgh County Area Plan Commission and the Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization. As REA's Principal & Director of Planning, Cynthia’s thoughtful direction of this inter-jurisdictional planning process resulted in building consensus with many stakeholders and through many alternative points of view.
