We are pleased to announce that Patrick Dierkes, P.E. has joined our growing team of landscape architecture, planning, urban design, civil engineering, and construction professionals.
Patrick's professional journey has taken him from coast to coast and has included managing over $80 million in infrastructure contracts for a 23-mile urban freeway and 10-lane bridge in Vancouver BC; overseeing bridge, roadway, multiuse trail, bicycle lane, and ADA compliance projects in his hometown of Columbia, Missouri; inspecting construction of state highway projects in Maryland for one of the world's largest engineering firms; and leading the engineering, utility coordination, and constructability reviews for roadways, trails, and other infrastructure projects in his adopted hometown of Bloomington, Indiana. Along this journey, he even managed to design, construct, and operate a successful food truck business!
REA was introduced to Patrick through his work as a project engineer for the City of Bloomington, where he served as the City’s point person for the redevelopment of the 24-acre Hopewell project on the site of the former Bloomington Hospital. After working together for several years on the design and implementation of this transformative project, we are excited that Patrick has joined REA.
Patrick adds diverse technical expertise to our interdisciplinary practice, enabling REA to provide a fully integrated approach for our clients and partners. Through Patrick's commitment to exceptional client service, technical craftsmanship, and collaboration, he will advance our commitment to excellence in all aspects of project development. With his exceptional engineering experience and thoughtful approach, we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our practice and the clients we serve. Please join us in welcoming Patrick Dierkes to the team!
