Exciting news from City of Bloomington, IN - Office of the Mayor!
Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of The Forge, a 22,000-square-foot Class A office building in the heart of the Trades District. This $12.8M project, funded in part by a $3.5M U.S. EDA grant, is set to become a hub for tech companies, researchers, and innovators.

REA played a pivotal role in shaping the Trades District Vision Plan and grant writing to secure EDA funding. We then collaborated with StudioAxis on a thoughtful landscape design for The Forge, featuring a green roof that reduces stormwater runoff, promotes biodiversity, and enhances views from the third-floor amenity deck - a testament to the power of collaboration, sustainability, and forward-thinking design!
