Deane is a co-founder of REA. For more than 40 years, his exceptional public landscapes - parks, downtown plazas, campuses, and trails – have brought people together in meaningful ways. They are crucial gathering places in each of their communities, providing flexible open spaces, with careful custom detailing and meaningful art. Deane has been a pioneer in the profession, both in private practice and the academic setting. Many of the core values that Deane instilled in our firm’s early years, still influence much of our practice today.
